Fellow Change Makers,
Over the last year, we have all gone through unprecedented times never thought of before, that have essentially effected the way we now live within our new normal. We have learnt to adapt, in tandem with Charles Darwin’s theories, so that as species we do not die.  This coming Rotary year 2021-22, as change makers, we therefore expect to see a lot more adaptability and unique rotary experiences, but what is life without recognition and celebration of them? Most notably, Celebrating as a Rotary family D9213 solely composed of Ugandans; this great milestone deserves a befitting celebration, a befitting mark, a footprint in the sands of time.
On behalf of the 97th District Conference change making team, we, with great pleasure and honour, graciously invite you all, to a Rotary celebration of Service that will have changed lives in 2021, 2022. We are with a bang, stepping out for the first time ever in Uganda’s Rotary History to hold a district conference outside of our Rotary district and outside of our geographical country, next door into the great tourism town of Naivasha in Kenya. Referencing the quote used by RIPE Mehta at the International assembly this year, said by Bernard Shaw; You see things and you say “why”? But I dream things that never were and I say “why not”?
This special District Conference shall be held between April 21st - April 24th 2022 at the most prestigious Enasphai resort and Spa Naivasha Kenya. Enasphai Resort and Spa is set on over 50 acres, more like a little city with every single thing for everyone, from state of the art recreation and spa facilities, sunny family areas, lush and extensive green gardens, top of the range conference facilities for the world-class speakers we shall host, various inhouse restaurants, inhouse night club, everything for everyone.
